This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It is covered with a white glaze that is transparent in some spots. This bowl is signed on the bottom. It is sturdy and easy to handle. Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
