Vtg Japanese Kokeshi Doll Handmade Ornament Figurine
This is a vintage Japanese traditional craft wooden kokeshi doll in a glass case. It is a souvenir from Nara Prefecture, and it has a picture of a five-storied pagoda, and inside the case are male and female kokeshi dolls and a glass deer. Kokeshi are simple wooden Japanese dolls with no arms or legs that have been crafted for more than 150 years (the late Edo period) as a toy and amulets for children.
