Vintage Japanese Buddhist Altar Lacquered Offering Table
Painted with black and gold lacquer, this vintage Japanese Buddhist kyozukue offering table with a traditional shape is a stunning focal point in any home altar. This piece contains a small drawer for items such as prayer beads, incense, and candles, and featured gorgeous brass metal panel embellishments on the edges.
This piece is typically placed in front of a Buddhist altar, and the original usage is for reading sutras, but it is also used as a stand for placing an incense burner or ring an orin bell (singing bowl).
