Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Flower Vase
This is a bronze flower vase, hanatate, for Buddhist altars. It is a vessel for Sakaki leaves or Shashagi leaves. It is also common to offer a range of seasonal and symbolic flowers in front of the altar. It has a striking gold-colored round crane symbol synonymous with Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism.
