Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Hanging Lantern Butsugu Parts
This is a set of spare parts from a vintage Japanese Buddhist brass metal hanging lantern, or rinto, made to be hung in Buddhist altars (butsugu). This set comes with the bottom pieces as well as the top part of the top hanging pieces. Each has a simple, smooth design with no added embellishments. They have a raised circular piece on the inside of the base meant to secure a small round metal bracket, which would then hold a small plate or bowl that holds weights, candles, or sometimes small electrical lights. **This is not a complete set.**
