Vtg Japanese Buddhist Sutra Book
This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist sutra book called Hannya Shingyo, or Heart Sutra. One side of the pages features regular Japanese characters while the other side features illustrations that are a mnemonic for remembering the sutra. This accordion-style sutra book has a red fabric cover embellished with gold chrysanthemum flowers.
