Japanese Rice Offering Cup Buddhist Altar Fitting Butsugu
This is a Japanese Buddhist altar fitting, rice offering cup Buppanki. It's made of brass, and colored black. There is an aluminum inner cup inside the cup. The rice offered to Buddhist altars is called “Buppan”. In the Jodo Shinshu Otani sect, we use the term "Obuku".
