Japanese Butsugu Butsudan Flower Vase

This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist altar fitting, flower stand, Kabin (Hanatate). The design is a three-dimensional dragon holding an orange ball. There is a removable stainless steel inner vase inside. It is a vase that is offered on Buddhist altars for ancestors. A vase is one of the three essential tools (Sangusoku), a tool that is necessary even if the sect is different. Sangusoku is a candlestick, an incense burner, and a vase.
