Japanese Incense Burner Koro for Buddhist Altar Butsudan
This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist brass incess burner (koro) made as a fitting for a Buddhist altar. This piece has a cone-shaped lid with simple floral cutouts. It is used for burning incense powder or sticks. The incense burner has the meaning of purifying the body of the worshiper.
