Vintage Japanese Wooden Small Bowl

This is a Japanese vintage small bowl, or kobachi, typically used for serving cold salad, fruit, and other dishes. This round and simply designed dish is carved from wood and stained a deep brown with a clear brushed lacquer finish. It can also be used for storing small trinkets, jewelry, keys, etc.
