Vtg Japanese Bronze Statue Hotei
This is a large vintage Japanese bronze statue that depicts one of the Seven Lucky Gods, Hotei. Hotei is often associates with good fortune, popularity, and considered a guardian of children. His prominent features include a bald head and round, often exposed, belly. he carries a staff and or a fan. In this statue, he is accompanied by a small child with a Chinese Tang Dynasty hair style. Both the staff and fan are removable.
