Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It has a beige crackle glaze topped with two half circles in a dark green glossy glaze. This V shape bowl is decorated with painted brown flowers on the inside and the outside. The edge of the bowl is also colored in brown and green. This type of bowls is traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies.
