This handsome antique standing taiko musician (hayashi) ohinasama doll decorated in red silk with gray threads is the perfect addition to any existing hina set or to add gorgeous Eastern flair to any home decor. 

The Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival) in Japan is a traditional event celebrated on March 3rd every year, primarily to wish for the healthy growth and happiness of girls. Hina dolls are an essential part of Hinamatsuri and are prominently displayed in homes during the festival.
