Vintage Japanese Sword Bow Arrow Display Set
This 2-part set features a sword and a bow with arrows (Hamayumi) for display in one's home. Hamayumi is said to ward off evil spirits from the house and bring fortune. It is also a talisman for the healthy growth of children and is often displayed during the Boys' Day Festival (Children's Day) every May. It may complement the kabuto helmet often displayed during that holiday. This set features a combination of black and gold, along with a purple and white braided cord and tassel on the front. The sword is a resin replica. This set comes in a cardboard box.
