Vintage Japanese Iron Sewing Scissors
This is a vintage Japanese iron sewing scissors for cutting threads, called Itokiri-Basami. The U-shaped sewing scissors have a spring mechanism that keeps the blades open, so they do not need to be opened every time in use. The pointed tips are good for cutting threads and preventing the fabric from being damaged. Something like tape is wrapped around the handle.
