Vtg Japanese Hina Doll Accessory
This set of two wooden hishidai, or stands for diamond-shape mochi rice cakes, embellished with colorful sakura cherry blossoms on the front and petals on the top edge, is the perfect addition to any existing hina set. The set comes with synthetic fabric bags for storage.
The Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival) in Japan is a traditional event celebrated on March 3rd every year, primarily to wish for the healthy growth and happiness of girls. Hina dolls are an essential part of Hinamatsuri and are prominently displayed in homes during the festival.
