Antique Japanese Flower Vase Kabin
This is a Japanese antique kabin flower vase. This is a wired (yusen) cloisonné enamel (shippo) vase popular between the late Meiji period through the early Showa period. It is a beautiful dark forest green with enamel layers of white blue and yellow to make the flower. The thin strips of metal can be seen easily added texture to the colored flower petals. It has a visible metal rim and base and has the Ando Company stamp on the bottom. It can be used for Ikebana flower arrangements or general floral displays.
