Vtg Japanese Ceramic Bowl W/ Wooden Box
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic bowl or chawan. This bowl is quite large and is perfect for noodles or ochadzuke. It has a light gray underglaze with zigzag geometric lines and green and brown curved lines. The top glaze is a crackle glaze. There is a signature at the bottom of the piece. It is sturdy and easy to handle thanks to its curved shape. This bowl is wrapped with a blue cloth and cased in a wooden box with a ribbon to secure the lid.
