Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Hanging Lantern Butsugu Parts
This is a set of spare parts from a vintage Japanese Buddhist brass metal hanging lantern, or rinto, made to be hung in Buddhist altars (butsugu). They have a raised circular piece on the inside of the base meant to secure a small round metal bracket, which would then hold a small plate or bowl that holds weights, candles, or sometimes small electrical lights. One piece has a metal loop at the top for hanging, while the other is missing. **This is not a complete set.**
