Vtg Japanese Ceramic Side Dish Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic bowl for side dishes. This recipient has the elegant shape of a 6-leaves plant bud. This bowl is a greenish-white glaze decorated with a dash of black. On the inside is a picture of small floral elements in red, blue, brown, and white. This bowl is the perfect size for putting on small food and sweets. It can also be used as a teacup.
Japanese meals traditionally consist of a bowl of rice accompanied with several side dishes called Okazu. The side dishes are served in dedicated small plates and small bowls.
