Return & Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at Chidori Vintage. 

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns

You have 30 calendar days from the date you received the item to return it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it, with no additional damage, wear, or alterations.  Items returned with damage, wear, or alterations may be subject to a partial refund or refusal.  Your item must have been purchased from Chidori Vintage.  Original shipping charges are non-refundable.  All items sold by Chidori Vintage are vintage or pre-owned unless otherwise stated. Minor imperfections, signs of age, patina, and natural wear are considered part of the item’s character and are not considered defects.  We strive to describe all items accurately so you can purchase with confidence.  

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that it has been received.  We will inform you of your refund status after inspecting the item.  If your return is approved, we will issue a refund to your credit card (or the original payment method). You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.  

Any Other Problems

If we accidentally sent you the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days, and we will send you the correct item.  In most cases, you can keep the mistaken item.  If an item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us within 7 days with clear photos of the packaging and item, and we will arrange a refund, replacement, or credit.  

In any case, please contact us, and we will work with you to resolve any issues you may have.  We are here to help, and your satisfaction is our top priority.  After 30 days, all transactions are final.  

Return Shipping

If you purchased an item and decide to return it, you will be responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Import Charges

Import charges such as VAT and Tariffs are the customer's responsibility.  The destination country determines these charges, and they are beyond our control.  Please be aware of these charges before ordering.  If a package is refused because the customer does not want to pay for import fees, we will charge a $5 per-item restocking fee.  Shipping charges are not refundable.  

Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections or destination-country postal services.  We do our best to complete all paperwork to minimize delays in the customs process, but sometimes they are unavoidable.
