Vintage Japanese Folding Fan Sensu
This is a traditional Japanese folding fan called a sensu. You can use this when it's hot or as a decorative item.
This fan is dark blue on both sides and features gold kanji characters with furigana depicting Shoshinge, The Hymn of True Faith, by Shinran of Jodo-shinshu. It has a cord loop at the end for easy carrying or hanging. The frame is natural bamboo. It comes with a paper box.
