Vintage Japanese Resin Lacquer Replica Bento Box
This is a vintage Japanese bento lunch box. While made of sturdy resin plastic, this box is stylized to look like a traditional lacquerware bento box. It is a rich deep brown, almost a red color, and has a simple line design on the lid. Inside is colored black and permanently divided into four compartments for rice, sides, and pickles/salads. This box has a raised bottom so it can be stacked upon others of the same style and size.
This was purchased at the famous Osu Antique Market in Nagoya, Japan
