Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Small Plate

This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden round plate (mamezara). This small plate  is coated in black outside and red inside. This lightweight round plate is the ideal size for serving wagashi sweets or ordinary small dishes.  It can also hold small jewelry, coins, or beads.
