Vtg Japanese Kimekomi Ningyo Fabric Doll Zodiac Dragon
This vintage Japanese Kimekomi fabric doll represents a dragon, one of the Chinese zodiac animals, and is a decoration for the new year to wish for ever-increasing success. It has a wooden base with silk fabric applied according to the kimekomi technique. The dragon is green with a cloud pattern. The lower part of this doll looks like a cloud of gold. A treasure ball is in the dragon's mouth. Golden rice barrels, rice ears, a wooden sign, and a wooden stand are included. It also comes with the extra fabric, paulownia wood powder (used during the crafting process as filler), and the original paper box.
