Vtg Girl Festival Hina Matsuri Wooden Court Servant Doll
This vintage Japanese wooden court man servant doll wears a white kimono with a purple decorative string and a dark green under kimono. It is part of the three Shicho man servants found in Hina doll sets. This particular doll is represented with a crying face. This is a quality hina doll made of silk and wood and the head is removable as it was handcrafted separately from the body with a wood base and gofun, a white chalk commonly used in crafting doll faces made from the shells of oysters, clams, etc. This doll sits on a wooden lacquered stand decorated with maki-e art on the front. This elegant doll is an excellent addition to any hina set of doll collection.
**Head will be removed for shipping for safety of the product.
