Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquer Serving Tray, Obon w/Box

A vibrant, high-gloss reddish-brown color, this high-quality vintage Hida Shinkei lacquer Japanese serving tray is made of wood. It is rectangle and holes on raised sides work as handles. Some writing is on the back.  It comes with the original paper box.
Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
