Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquer Serving Tray, Obon 

This vintage Japanese serving tray is made of wood. It is brown and brushed with a clear lacquer coating, highlighting the natural wood grain.  It is round with a short, raised stepped rim so drinks cannot easily slide off.
Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
