Vintage Japanese Ceramic Teacup Saucer
This is a vintage Japanese porcelain teacup saucer (chataku). It can also be used as a small plate (meimeizara). This round plate is a matte speckled yellow beige color with a brown rim. The top surface has an indentation for a cup to fit neatly on it. Though it mainly functions as a saucer, it can also be used as a small plate perfect for putting small food or sweets such as cakes.
