Vtg Japanese Ceramic Side Dish Plate
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic side dish bowl or plate. This white and blue plate has an elegant octagonal shape. It is decorated with blue resinous tree leaves on the inside and with blue round symbols on the outside. This recipient has the perfect size for putting on small food, sweets, or even ice cream.
Traditionally Japanese meals consist of a bowl of rice accompanied with several side dishes called Okazu. The side dishes are served in dedicated small plates and small bowls.
