Vtg Japanese Decorative Samurai Armor for Boys' Festival
This is a vintage Japanese samurai helmet (Kabuto) for a Japanese boys' festival decoration or for celebrating the birth of a boy. This little, sturdy iron metal helmet has orange tassels attached. The front gold-colored metal decorative part is removable via a screw. It is compact in size and easy to store when not on display.
Helmets and armor are commonly displayed during the Japanese boys' festival. They protect boys from illness and accidents, and help them overcome difficulties and grow strong.
