Antique Japanese Ikebana Flower Vase
This is an antique Japanese flower vase or kabin used for ikebana flower arrangements. This heavy iron vase has a flared rim and a thinner body; the shape is called suehiro and is mainly used at the Shogetudokoryu ikebana school. Inside the bottom, there is a round cup with a small hole on the side and textured bumps on the bottom for arranging flowers.
