Antique Japanese Lacquered Wooden Table Ozen 

This is an antique Japanese lacquered wooden table or Ozen. This low square table has four cut corners, which is called sumikiri-zen, and two panel legs. It has open spaces that the legs slide on. This item can be used as a small table or a serving tray. 
Ozen tables are usually used by one person for a meal. They are also perfect for displaying party food at New Year's celebrations and other important gatherings.
