This vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi doll figurine features a painted waterfall and bridge on the front and inscriptions. The doll's body is a sturdy shape that can be handled easily. The head is round and painted with black, white and red details. This item is likely a souvenir from Chuzenji temple in Nikko.
