Japanese Porcelain Yunomi Teacup
This vintage Japanese porcelain teacup features a red, green, and blue floral and geometrical design. There is a total of four flowers on the outside and the cup is white on the inside. It is a style similar to Akita ware cups. This cup has a flower bud shape. It is signed on the bottom.
This cup is called yunomi, a cup made for serving and drinking sencha (standard loose-leaf tea). These cups are typically brought to guest in one's home, a business, or a restaurant on a lacquered obon tray.
