Vintage Japanese Lusterware Porcelain Teacup and Saucer
This is a vintage Showa-era Japanese porcelain china teacup with matching saucer. It is manufactured in 1932 by Ohashi China in Nagoya, Japan and is a gorgeous example of lusterware. This cup and saucer have a pearlescent, eye-catching look with gold accented edges and handle. The main image is lily of the valley, and the pattern is called "Golden Fantasy". Both the cup and saucer have a maker's mark on the bottom. It comes with a decorative wooden stand for display.
We got this item at an antique auction in Tajimi in Gifu, Japan.
