Vtg Japanese Wooden Saucer Coaster Chataku
This is a vintage Japanese wooden lacquered drink saucer or coaster. It is called Chataku in Japan. It is used when serving tea to guests. It is a round brown coaster with a mountain and Kanji 半僧坊 (Hansobo) carved inside. Hansobo is a shrine in Kanagawa prefecture.
