This is a Japanese vintage Buddhist candle holder with an unused lotus candle. The candle holder is made of ceramic and has a golden color. It has an elegant octagonal shape. The candle features a picture of lotus flowers with vivid colors on the front. It is wrapped in plastic. These two items are in their original cardboard box. Candlestands or candlesticks are basic Buddhist tools used in most sects and an essential for Buddhist altars (Butsudan).
