Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll Figurine
This vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi doll figurine represents a daruma, a Japanese symbol of perseverance and good luck. This daruma is painted in red with black, pink, white and red details on its face. It has legs and arms, which is rare since darumas usually don't have any. This daruma is holding a shamisen on top of its head and some smaller darumas are placed on the shamisen. The whole figurine is fixed on a black stand.
