Japanese Wooden Figurine
This vintage Japanese wooden bobbling figurine represents a turtle (kame) and a crane (tsuru). These two animals are traditional symbols of longevity. The legs, head and tail of the turtle and the neck of the crane are moving, making this piece unique. The crane is white, red and black and is sitting in a gold and silver nest. The turtle is brown and black and has the character for longevity painted on its back. The turtle and the crane are fixed on a wooden base with characters on the front.
