Japanese Suiseki Viewing Stone OrnamentÂ
This item is a Japanese viewing stone, also called Suiseki. This black with greenish vein stone and was cut and polished into an abstract, yet mountainous shape. It comes with a carved wooden base made specially for it. The base is removable.Â
In traditional Japanese culture, Suiseki are rocks, big and small, appreciated for their natural aesthetics and decorative values. This suiseki stone makes for a gorgeous centerpiece or mantelpiece.Â
