Antique Japanese Copper Sake Cup War Commemorative
This is an antique Japanese copper sake cup, Sakazuki. There are Japanese characters (kanji) engraved on the top and on the bottom of the cup related to the first Sino-Japanese war.
Sakazuki refers specifically to flat sake cups. Ochoko is a small cup that can be used to drink sake in one or two sips. Guinomi is a cup large enough to fit your nose when drinking sake.
