Vintage Japanese Ceramic Storage Jar
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic jar. This small lidded storage container with a two-tone gray glaze is made to store pickled plums (umeboshi), more specifically, Ouguisuku Ume, a famous and popular souvenir rice/dish topping from Kitakyushu that consists of umeboshi pulp. This sturdy container is also an excellent choice for storing sugar for daily use or other toppings/spices.
