Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll
This vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi figurine features two dolls with a wobbly head sitting on a tiled floor with a towel on their laps and a Japanese bath bucket between them. It represents a scene at an onsen hot-spring, or at a sento public bath. The two dolls have a pointy head. This type of kokeshi is called Arima-fude dolls. The dolls and objects are attached to a wooden stand.
