 Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll

This vintage Japanese kokeshi figurine features a couple of elderly standing in front of a building representing the shrine Taga Taisha (Shiga prefecture). On the left, there is a stone with a panel writing 'stone of life'. The shrine elements are bamboo, and the couple is wood.
