This is a vintage Japanese stainless steel serving ladle or spoon used for nabe hotpot. It has flower-shaped cutouts on the metal piece used for straining solids from liquids. The handle is simple and wooden. This piece makes it easy to remove food items such as vegetables and meats from the pot without filling your personal bowl with excess liquid.
