Vintage Japanese Round Serving Tray

This is a Japanese vintage serving tray, or Obon. This black round serving tray is decorated with a picture of a flying crane and a picture of a weaved object. It has a high edge to secure things while carrying. There is an inscription in gold on the back of the tray.

Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. This elegant tray provide both function and beautiful decor.
