Vtg Japanese Lacquerware Wood Bowl Kashiki

This is a vintage Japanese lacquerware wooden bowl, Kashiki. Kashiki is a bowl or container that holds sweets for served at Japanese tea ceremonies. there is a lid. Kashiki is hand-crafted with traditional Japanese lacquering techniques and finished with a beautiful red stain. The lacquering and staining create an elegant sheen and provide a durable, water-resistant finish.
