Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquer Serving Tray, Obon w/Box
A vibrant, high-gloss reddish-brown color, this high-quality vintage Hida Shinkei lacquer Japanese serving tray is made of wood. It is a rectangle with slightly raised sides so drinks cannot easily slide off. The two longer sides have a wavy rim; the other two are slanted outward and have a hole, making it a handle.
Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
