Vintage Japanese Lacquerware Small Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese small bowl, kobachi, made of wood and coated with a gorgeous red-orange urushi lacquer. The underside is a smooth black. This shallow, round dish is made primarily for side dishes and can also be considered as nimonowan in some cases.
